These sketches were created as part of a larger design package for a revitalized "Medina" in the heart of Fez, Morocco. The competition was set up to help a struggling part of the city, rich in cultural heritage and authentic local architecture, regain its pride as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The competition began in October 2010 and is set to continue to the next round in early 2011.
